Movie review "Avengers: Infinity War";
The incredibly powerful and treacherous Thanos (Josh Brolin) finally acquires a powerful artifact - the Infinity Gauntlet. He plans to place the stones of eternity in it in order to realize his cruel and global plan by tapping his fingers. All the characters who appeared in the previous films of the franchise must unite to save everything. Therefore, by healing the wounds of old conflicts, the team is trying to figure out how to defeat the unstoppable titan.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is a dynamic dance of plot intricacies and an unsurpassed atmosphere that encompasses the entire action. A creepy and sinister mood suits Marvel. No judicious introduction or retrospective. The vast archive of consistent and logical presented information collected in 18 Marvel Studio films allows the directors to launch a series of stunning events without hesitation. If other films in the cinematic universe are far from the main story, someone has not seen it, then the viewer simply "Will not understand" what is happening on the screen.
In terms of pictures, the film demonstrates unprecedented scope. It really is a must see exclusively in IMAX. Sometimes there are scenes with poor graphics, just as an exception. But the final battle completely erases any mention of any shortcomings. The production of action scenes reaches a new level, unattainable by competitors.
The interaction between your favorite characters is something that viewers have been looking forward to, starting with the announcement of the grand crossover. First impressions, jokes, arguments, fighting side by side - all this (and a dozen more options) makes dreams come true. A few years ago, we couldn't even imagine a meeting between the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers (at one time, there was such a plan - Tony Stark was supposed to see the Guardians in one of the scenes after the credits). And now this meeting feels like it's in a gift wrapper right in front of us. Instead of fanfare, there is an atmospheric soundtrack that imperceptibly permeates the entire film and provides an in-depth perception of the picture on a subconscious level.
Obviously, it's a very difficult task to accommodate many characters in one movie. The directors of the Russo brothers already have similar experience (they shot "Captain America: Standoff&which, although it had enough flaws and even hacky moments, nevertheless directed the further development of the franchise in the right direction). Despite past shortcomings, the mere appearance of the good old protagonists is a matter of casual admiration.
The Avengers (in particular, Iron Man and Spider-Man) and Guardians, Thor, Captain America, Doctor Strange got more screen time. The Hulk got a little less. The rest appeared in several scenes and, of course, in the final battle. We should immediately proclaim Captain America's declaration of coolness: he has finally stopped being a boring jock. In the movie, Steve is a kind of dad who comes to resolve the situation, pile on the enemies and rally the people for a decisive confrontation. Maybe it was the beard and the new hairstyle that influenced Rogers so much?
You can also single out the Torus. In the third Avengers, his image was finally fully formed. He is a successful symbiosis of the funny goody-goody from his third solo album and the serious ace from the first two.
Probably one of the drawbacks is the so-called "jumping" from one group of heroes to another. It seems like the driving chase is interrupted by a dialogue in Wakandi. And soon we come back to her again.
Special attention was paid to Thanos. It is a cruel evil that is completely confident in its good intentions. He really calmly and intently considers mass genocide as a single salvation of the galaxy. The portrayal of the titan is simply magnificent. It's hard to just take him and brand him a thief. A powerful figure is not a typical goat or a one-time scoundrel. Incredibly, on his first official visit to the Marvel cinematic universe, Thanos instantly outshone everyone (everyone without exception!) characters. Until recently, the giant mysteriously existed somewhere in the shadows (except that he appeared in a cameo in the first part of the Guardians" and scenes after the credits). But these are small things. No one knew how he would be shown in the third part of the Avengers. The degree of tension has reached its peak.
The first thing to note is that the antagonist's computer model plays better than most actors. Seriously, even Robert Downey Jr. seems to be quietly yawning during filming. But Thanos even cries more realistically than other characters in dramatic scenes. He can deservedly be considered the best antagonist of the Marvel cinematic universe. The pretentious announcements have completely come true. The directors managed to reveal the identity of the titan as much as possible. Every little thing about the villain's motivation is clear, and so are the reasons why he doesn't kill any of the heroes. There are noticeable traces of doubt, despair, rage and an irresistible desire to achieve the goal.
Anthony and Joe Russo put a special emphasis on the relationship between Gama and Thanos. They hit the target exactly. This move gave a hundred points ahead for the development of titan.
The humor in the movie is pure Marvel. It is evenly scattered throughout the timekeeping. Self-irony, sarcasm, fanservice, creative situational jokes - everything is verified with exquisite precision. Marvel movies have never been so balanced.
Despite the dense intrigue, the fourth part can partially distract all the events, or give a predictable and positive ending. And against the background of unfathomable curiosity and spectator experiences, this may turn out to be unprofitable for the cinematic universe.
"Avengers Infinity War" is a large-scale and unsurpassed event in the world of cinema. The level of tension can only be compared with "Star Wars". Believe me, unexpected turns will be enough to drive the viewer crazy with shock. The Russo brothers did not lie when they promised to show a previously unseen spectacle. After watching, emotions overwhelm all fans without exception.
We don't know what will happen next. Therefore, the intrigue only excites the senses, forcing you to plunge into a lethargic sleep until next year. It remains to be hoped that Marvel will not lose its enthusiasm and will demonstrate something more spectacular and innovative in the next tape.
