Opening an account with KSL is fully digital and takes under 15 minutes. You can start by visiting kslindia.com and clicking "Open Demat Account", or use the E-KYC link. You’ll need your PAN card, Aadhaar, a mobile number linked to Aadhaar for OTP verification, and a bank account. Once your KYC is verified, you receive a 2-in-1 trading and demat account (linked with CDSL). Alternatively, visit any of our offices in Mumbai, Pune, or Bhubaneswar for in-person assistance.

For resident Indians, you need: PAN card (mandatory), Aadhaar card (for address and identity), a cancelled cheque or bank statement (for bank linking), and a recent passport-size photograph. For F&O segment activation, an income proof - latest 6-month bank statement, ITR, or Form 16 - is also required as per SEBI regulations. KYC is a one-time exercise. If you have already completed KYC with any SEBI-registered intermediary, you do not need to repeat the process.

Most accounts are verified and activated within 24-48 hours of submitting a complete KYC application, provided all documents are in order.

No minimum balance is required to open a trading and demat account with KSL - you can start with as little or as much as suits your investment plan.
